About Me

I'am part Chinese, part Portuguese and all Filipino. Food is not really part of our heritage, but love for it and knowing how to cook good food runs deep in our veins. My grandfather (on my mother side) is Kapampangan who have a rich culture when it comes to food. When I was little I always watch him on how he prepares food, when I compare it on how we cook things today, it's far different. He always give importance to the small details like beating eggs. Which I kinda got also when I'm cooking. Not rushing everything. My grandmother (on my mother side) is a Chinese, I've learned a lot from her on how to cook simple but delicious Chinese foods and some Filipino complicated dishes. My other grandfather (on my father side), I've learned that it's all about on the sauce and and making sure that all meat is tender. My mom and dad is also a great cook. Every time my mom cooks (whenever she have time), she sometimes add a little something different to the dish making a bit better than the usual.
